9) DIFFERENTIAL FEED MODIFICATION

To adjust the differential feed dog, rotate the differential feed
operating lever

ⓐ

to the left or the right.

If the differential feed operating lever

ⓐ

is between the 4 and 5,

the momentums of the main feed dog and the differential feed
dog will be the same.
For the forward differential, turn the differential feed operating
lever

ⓐ

to the scale of 9. For the reverse differential, turn the

differential feed operating lever

ⓐ

to the scale of 1.

Tip) The differential operating lever stopper screwⓑ can be used

when fixing the differential feed operating leverⓐ or retaining the
adjustment range of the differential motion.
