Fuel Supply – Diesel
•
Your vehicle is supplied with a full tank of diesel.
Please ensure that the tank is full at the end of
the hire.
•
Please ensure that only diesel is put in the fuel
tank.
•
Location of fuel tank is behind passenger door.
•
Key is required to unlock the fuel cap.
•
The hirer will be liable for any costs incurred
if the wrong fuel is put in the tank i.e. petrol
instead of diesel. Draining tank, towage, engine
repairs, alternative travel and accommodation
etc.

Diesel – fuel cap is located next to passenger
door
•
Tank capacity 68 litres
•
It is important that you do not run out of fuel.
Please do not rely totally on the fuel gage, it is
an indication only.
•
Refueling should be done at least every
400/450kms.
•
There are many remote areas of New Zealand
without petrol stations for considerable
distances.
