START ROWING UNDER SCAN MODE:

Scan sign appears (shown in the top left corner of the monitor picture below).

Automatically cycles through functions in a pre-set order displaying each function for 6 seconds (then

repeats).

Function value counts down from target value (when target value has been preset).

Function value counts up from 0 if no target is preset.

Press

MODE

to exit

SCAN MODE

and select a main display function.

PULSE RECOVERY:

NOTE:

To use this program, you must wear a

Heart Rate Transmitter

(NOT INCLUDED). Follow the

manufacturer’s instructions for wearing and using the

Heart Rate Transmitter

to obtain an accurate

reading.

Pulse Recovery

function is used upon completion of a workout. The function measures the amount

of time it takes for the user’s heart rate to return to a resting heart rate, the quicker the user’s heart

rate returns to a resting rate the better.

Press the

RECOVERY

button while the

PULSE

function is activated, time counts down from 60

seconds to zero.

Once the time reaches zero, the monitor will display

F1-F6(Pulse Recovery Value)

. This value is

used to grade the rate at which your heart beat returns to a resting heart rate. (

F1.0 = Excellent

F2.0 = Good

F3.0 = Fair

F4.0 = Below Average

F5.0 = Not Good

F6.0 = Poor
