Sunbeam Products, Inc. doing business as Jarden Consumer Solutions or
if in Canada, Sunbeam Corporation (Canada) Limited doing business as
Jarden Consumer Solutions (collectively “JCS”) warrants that for a period
of one year from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects
in material and workmanship. JCS, at its option, will repair or replace this
product or any component of the product found to be defective during the
warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured
product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement
may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your
exclusive warranty. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or
mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of
initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt.
Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. JCS dealers,
service centers, or retail stores selling JCS products do not have the right to
alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting
from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on
improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions,
disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than JCS or an authorized
JCS service center. Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of God, such
as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?
JCS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused
by the breach of any express, implied or statutory warranty or condition.
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or
condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in
duration to the duration of the above warranty.
JCS disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express,
implied, statutory or otherwise.
JCS shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the
purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use the product including
incidental, special, consequential or similar damages or loss of profits, or for
any breach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought
against purchaser by any other party.
Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how
long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may
not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights that vary from province to province, state to state or jurisdiction to
jurisdiction.
21. Ne posez pas la cuve si elle contient l’huile ou les grains, elle renverserait.
22. Ne laissez pas sans surveillance un appareil qui est branché sur la prise
de courant et fonctionne.
23. Vérifiez qu’il n’y ait pas de corps étrangers dans la cuve avant
d’employer l’appareil.
24. Assurez-vous que lla cuve soit convenablement fixée aux supports
avant l’emploi et que la fiche du moteur soit reliée à la cuve.
25. N’immergez PAS l’appareil dans l’eau.
26. Ne faites PAS fonctionner l’appareil près d’eau.
27. Ne vous servez PAS d’éponge abrasive ou de tampon à récurer pour
nettoyer l’appareil.
28. Ne laissez PAS l’appareil sans surveillance durant son fonctionnement.
29. Ne forcez PAS pour adapter la cuve dans les supports ou l’en retirer,
les engrenages risqueraient de se désaligner, en quel cas l’appareil ne
fonctionnerait pas convenablement.
30. Ne faites PAS fonctionner un appareil dont le cordon ou la fiche est
abîmé, ou bien un appareil qui a mal fonctionné.
31. Ne mettez AUCUNE des pièces de l’appareil dans le lave-vaisselle.
32. Gardez-le hors de portée des enfants – CE N’EST PAS UN JOUET.
33. Les jeunes enfants non surveillés et les personnes ayant une déficience
cognitive ne devraient jamais faire fonctionner cet appareil. Les jeunes
enfants devraient être assidûment surveillés lorsqu’ils sont à proximité
de l’appareil pour assurer qu’ils ne jouent avec l’éclateur de maïs.
Cet appareil est UNIQUEMENT DESTINÉ À L’USAGE DOMESTIQUE. Il
ne contient pas de pièces que puisse réparer l’utilisateur.
RENSEIGNEMENTS SUR LA FICHE POLARISÉE
Cet appareil est équipé d’une fiche polarisée (une lame est plus large que
l’autre) pour réduire les risques de choc électrique. Par mesure de sécurité, la
fiche n’enfonce dans les prises de courant polarisées que dans un sens. Si la
fiche ne rentre pas totalement dans la prise, inversez la fiche. Si elle ne pénètre
toujours pas entièrement, ayez recours aux services d’un électricien qualifié.

Un cordon court est délibérément fourni pour ne pas faire trébucher. Un
cordon prolongateur peut être utilisé, à condition d’observer les précautions
d’usage. S’il est employé, ses caractéristiques électriques doivent être au
moins identiques à celles de l’appareil. Il ne doit pas pendre pour éviter que
les enfants ne le tirent et qu’il ne puisse faire accidentellement trébucher.
