UNIQ HEAT BATTERIES REFERENCE MANUAL_V2.3 

 

Mains supply 

–

 Heat batteries with electrical input from solar diversion controller 

Run and connect heater power supply cable (16A, minimum 2.5mm

2

 CSA) from the solar diversion unit to the heat battery 

controller as shown in figure 6.3.

Brown (Live):  

Terminal 4 (Live) 

•

 

Blue (Neutral): 

Terminal 5 (Neutral) 

•

 

Green/Yellow (Earth): Terminal 6 (Earth) 

The control circuit power supply can be run from the same local isolator supplying the solar diversion unit.  

A separate 6A supply should be used for the control circuit if there is a primary external heat source connected. 

Set the controller program to type 1 for this application OR Type 2 if there is a primary external heat source connected
