NOTICES & ROUTINE

MAINTENANCE

1)

 After transportation, let the unit sit upright and undisturbed 

for at least 1 hour. If the unit has been put beyond the 45° 

angle from upright at any point, then let the appliance sit for 

a minimum of 2 hours prior to operation. Let the appliance 

operate for 2 hours prior to food storage

2)

 

DO NOT

 turn the unit on within 5 minutes after a sudden power 

failure or disconnect. Wait at least 10 minutes to 30 minutes prior to 

powering the unit up again.

3)

 Food should be stored with some separation to allow cold air to 

circulate better and for the appliance to operate more efficiently.

4)

 It is recommended that the temperature of the food to be stored 

in the unit should not be warmer than the ambient temperature of 

the room.

5)

 Acids, alkaline, corrosive substances, volatile, or inflammable

materials 

MUST NOT

 be stored in case of damage to the cabinet of

the unit. Any resulting damage as a result of improper storage is not 

covered by the manufacturer

6)

 How to clean your SunStar appliance:

a)

 Set your appliance to the off position and disconnect from power 

source  

b)

 Wipe down the interior walls with a soft cloth dipped in a 

neutral detergent.

c)

 Dry the interior of the unit with a clean cloth.

d)

The exterior of the unit can be wiped with a damp cloth. Do not 

use harsh chemicals.

 

7)

 Seasonally wipe off any dust that has accumulated on the 

condenser, fan, and compressor.
