Sun Fire 6800/4810/4800/3800 Systems Platform
Administration Manual Corrections
■
The Sun Fire 6800/4810/4800/3800 Systems Platform Administration Manual (Chapter
1 page 13) incorrectly states that there are four banks of memory on each CPU bd
and that each bank occupied eight slots. There are actually eight banks of memory
on each CPU/Memory board. Each bank of memory requires a CPU. The CPU is
the MMU (memory management unit). Each bank of memory occupies four slots.
■
Table 1-10 of the Sun Fire 6800/4810/4800/3800 Systems Platform Administration
Manual (Chapter 1 page 17) incorrectly states that the Repeater boards in grid 0
are RP0, RP2 and in grid 1 RP1 and RP3. The correct information is RP0, RP1 for
grid 0 and RP2, RP3 for grid 1.
