7.1 Working environment
(1) Welding should be carried out in dry environment with its humidity of 90% or less.
(2) The temperature of working environment should be between -1
0℃
and +4
0℃
.
(3) Avoid working in the open air unless sheltered from sunlight and rain. Keep it dry anytime and do not
place it on wet ground or in puddles.
(4) Avoid welding in dusty area or environment with corrosive chemical gas.
(5) Gas shielded arc welding should be operated in environment without strong airflow.
7.2 Safety tips
The welding machine has the over-voltage, over-current and over-heat protection. When the input
voltage, output current and the temperature inside the machine is beyond the set standards, the
machine will stop working automatically. However, overuse (for example too high voltage) can still lead
to the breakdown of machine, so please pay attention to the following instructions:
(1) Keep good ventilation!
When the machine is working, the natural air circulation can not cool down the high temperature
caused by big current flow, so a special fan is added to achieve the cooling.
Users need to make sure the back ventilator is not blocked or covered, and the machine should be
placed 0.3m away from the surroundings. It is important for users to keep good ventilation all the
time, it will be very helpful in improving the performance and service life of the machine.
(2) Over-load is forbidden!
The welding machine should be used as its duty cycle requires (refer to the corresponding duty
cycle), the welding current could not exceed the rated maximum output. The current overload will
shorten the service life of machine greatly, even destroyed.
(3) Over-voltage is forbidden!
The power voltage of the machine see the “Main parameter” table, in general situation, the
automatical voltage compensation circuit could keep the welding current in the normal range. If the
power voltage beyond the allowable values, it harms the machine, so the users should be aware of
this and take appropriate precautions.
(4) There is a grounding screw on the lower right corner of back panel. Before starting using the machine,
choose a wire (bigger than 2.5mm), and grouding the case to release static electricity.
(5) When the machine is working longer than the standard duty cycle requires, the temperature inside
the machine will be very high, it may start over-heat protection and stop working suddenly, and the
red light on the panel will light up. Under this situation, users do not have to remove the plug, so that
the fan on the back continues working and cool the machine down. When the red light is off, the
temperature goes down into the standard range, the machine could work again.
8. Maintenance:
Safety warning!
The following operation require the operator must have comprehensive electrical and safety
knowledge, as well as the qualifications. Make sure the input cable is removed from the power
supply before opening the casing.
