Powering ON and OFF
To power the SUMO ST360 on, simply press and release the power button located on the
left hand side of the unit. The display may take a few seconds to come on. To place the
SUMO ST360 into standby mode press and release the power button. To power off the
SUMO ST360 for extended storage power off the device using the operating systems
“shut down/power off” feature.
NOTE: Batteries shipped with your unit may be low in power, please ensure the SUMO
ST360 is given a full charge before every day’s operation is started. External battery
packs may be charged whilst attached to the SUMO ST360 or in the optional external
charging pack.
NOTE: When the battery pack is charging, the battery LED should blink slowly, should
this not be the case then the batteries may have been drained completely. To remedy
this, try plugging / unplugging the power to the SUMO St360 a few times to activate the
charging process.
NOTE: To conserve power, place the unit into standby mode by pressing the power
button briefly. To resume repeat the action.
NOTE: Avoid using the power button (press and hold feature) to power the unit off. This is
designed for recovery of locked systems and should not be used on a regular basis.
Start Up
After a successful start up, the software interface will be displayed after the boot
sequence. Wireless LAN may take 10 to 15 seconds longer to establish a connection.
Configuring the SUMO ST360
The device can be configured using the standard controls of the installed operating
systems.
