Set the choke lever to the ON position (See fig 7).
Turn the engine ON/OFF switch to the ON position
(See fig 8).
Hold down the generator firmly with one hand on the
carrying handle.With the other hand grip the recoil
starter cord handle and pull slowly until resistance is
felt indicating that the recoil starter is engaged.When
resistance is felt pull the cord sharply (See fig 9).
Continue this procedure until the engine starts.
When the engine has been successfully started and is
running smoothly return the choke lever to the OFF
position (See fig 10).
