REMOVAL
1.
With the climbing aid properly attached to the tree, attach your Lineman’s Belt to your FBFAHS following your FBFAHS
instructions. Climb up the BuckSteps until you reach the top BuckStep. While standing on the BuckStep below the one you are
removing, disengage the strap and remove the BuckStep from the tree. Lower the BuckStep to the ground using a hoist rope.
2.
Repeat this process until you are safely back on the ground. NEVER stand on any Climbing Aid while removing or dis-
engaging the straps!
WARNING

The looped end
MUST
be hooked around both ears as shown
in
Figure 9.
WARNING

When descending to remove the BuckStep:
NEVER
untie
any tie-off strap until you are securely standing on the
section below it and attached to the tree with a FBFAHS
and a Lineman’s Belt.
ALWAYS
support your weight on the
BuckStep section still securely attached and
ALWAYS
use
a Lineman’s Belt and FBFAHS until you are securely on the
ground!
WARNING

ALWAYS ENSURE
that the cam buckle faces out with no
twists in the strap as shown in
figure 10.
Inspect ALL sticks prior to each use for undue wear, deformity, corrosion, or other damage and all straps, webbing, and
ropes for fraying, rips, tears, cuts, undue wear or any other type of damage. Discontinue use IMMEDIATELY if any of this
damage is present.
