USING THE INFANT CARRIER ON AN AIRCRAFT
The FAA recommends that children up
to 40 pounds (18 kg) use a certified,
harnessed child seat while traveling on
an airplane. The Affirm™335 is certified
for airplane use only WITHOUT the base.
DO NOT
install in an aircraft seat that is
equipped with an inflatable seat belt.
BEFORE
installing carrier, refer to the
Securing Your Child in the Infant Carrier
section to secure your child in the carrier,
pg 40-43.
MAKE SURE the airline seat is in the fully
upright position.
Position infant carrier rear-facing in
aircraft seat with the foot end firmly
against the back of the aircraft seat.
