Check to ensure that
the tension of the netting between the individual poles is
sufficient
(Fig. 9).
Fig. 9. The netting must be taut between the individual poles
Step C: Connecting the 2 modules
Finish the installation by connecting the 2 modules using the securing hooks (see Section
3.2.5). After installation of the two modules, check to see if the
securing hook
can be
used properly
.
Step D: Installation of the next modules
in a row; the same procedure (repeat steps A,
B and C).
When surrounding an entire pool with the fence it may be necessary to go around some
corners.
To do this, read the next section.
3.2.2 Installation of the modules around corners
- A corner must always be formed out of 2 modules. If necessary, cut to size one of the
modules necessary for the corner (see Section 3.2.3 – Cutting modules).
Do not make any corners using only one module
(risk of insufficient tension in the
netting).
- Corners with angles from 0° and 90° are permitted between two modules
(The angle is measured between the extension of the previous and the next module – see
Fig. 10.) A certain gap must be maintained between the last pole of the 1st module and the
1st pole of the 2nd module so that the functionality of the securing hook is not
compromised.
The gap is different depending on the angle
(see Fig. 10 and Table 1).
- After installation, check whether the tension of the netting is sufficient and whether the
securing hook works without having to applying force.
Example 1. 90° angle between 2 modules: required gap = 110 mm
