environments or on materials generating high dust levels.
If necessary you can detach the hand protection by loos-
ening two screws.

The gearbox head can be rotated relative
to the stator housing in steps of 90° which
enables the ON/OFF switch to be brought
into a more easily accessible position for special work op-
erations.
Remove the four screws and carefully rotate the gearbox
head into the desired position. Screw in the screws and
tighten down.

missible maximum speed is equal
to or higher than the no-load
speed of the machine.

Clean backing flange, clamping nut and backing flange
surface of the grinding tool.
Place backing flange on the spindle with the longitudinal
groove down.
Fit the grinding tool. The raised centering rim of the back-
ing flange must engage exactly in the bore of the grinding
tool.
