18 Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
CAUSE - SOLUTION
The ADV does not work. The propeller
does not turn when the trigger is
pulled.
Open the ADV and make sure the batteries are
charged and that the connectors are inserted
and not damaged and retry.
Although the batteries are charged and
connectors are inserted, the ADV does
not work.
The control system could be damaged. It
should be checked.*
The electric engine could be out of order and
needs replacement.*
The batteries could be damaged and need
replacement.
ADV autonomy has drastically
diminished.
Replace the batteries.
The battery charge is broken or does not work
correctly and needs to be replaced.
When the main switch is turned off, the
ADV continues to run, there is no way
to turn it off.
The control system is damaged. It should be
replaced.*
The engine is noisy.
The ADV requires overhaul.*
The ADV vibrates when the propeller
turns.
The propeller was damaged and requires
replacement.
The transmission system is damaged. It
should be overhauled.*
The ADV slowly floods.
Replace all seal gaskets and carefully check
that internal tube housings are not scratched.

19 Maintenance
19.1 Routine maintenance
OR seal maintenance
Open the ADV and delicately remove the seal O-ring. Accurately clean the housing (only
and exclusively with a clean brush or soft cloth) do not use any type of solvent or alcohol.
Replace the gasket lubricated with VASELINE OIL in its housing (do not use any other
type of oil!). Sprays normally used for underwater equipment are recommended.
