Fan Motor
To remove the fan motor, first remove the outer wrap-
per, then (See Figure 3-21):
1.
Use a T-20 Torx drive to extract the screws from the
left air separator.
2.
Slide the left air separator from the rear tab and
remove the left air separator.
3.
Use a T-20 Torx drive to extract the screw from the
right air separator.
4.
Slide the right air separator from the rear tab and
remove the right air separator.
5.
Use a T-20 Torx drive to extract the screws from the
upper cover.
6.
Remove the upper cover.
7.
Use a T-20 Security Torx drive to extract the fan
motor cover screws (See Figure 3-22).
8.
Use a T-20 Torx drive to extract the screws holding
the fan motor cover to the fan motor.
9.
Remove the fan motor cover.
10. Disconnect the fan motor wires from the fan motor.
11. Use a T-20 Torx drive to extract the screws from the
fan motor (See Figure 3-23).
12. Remove the fan motor.
