RS422-to-Optical Converter

This assembly is a partially equipped version of the D19m RCC card
1.940.576. It is used for the conversion of a balanced RS422 signal to an
optical signal and vice versa between the stallion box and the RCC card.
It can be installed in any free slot of a D19m rack; operating voltage is 5 V.
The front panel LED displays either the send or the receive signal (jumper-
selectable).
The RS422 signal is wired to the 96-pin DIN 41612 female connector.

LED:
SUPPLY
Indicates “ power on” status.
SIGNAL
Indicates the RS422 (send) or the OPTO (receive) signal, depending on the
jumper setting.
Jumper:
RS422 / OPTO
In position “RS422” , the SIGNAL LED indicates the send signal; in posi-
tion “OPTO”, it indicates the receive signal.
