Battery Removal
Required Tools:

Drive Ratchet
1. Unplug the stretcher power cord from the wall socket.
2. Using the foot pedal, pump the litter top all the way up.
3. Remove the four Phillips head cap screws holding the Zoom
r
carriage access panel to the plastic base
hood. Remove the access panel and set it aside.
4. Using a 1/2
”
socket with extension, and a 3/8
”
drive ratchet, remove the kep nut and washer securing
the battery cover to the batteries. Remove the cover and set it aside.
5. Disconnect the battery cables from the battery tray assembly.
6. Remove the batteries. Discard properly.
Electrical Enclosure Assembly Removal

1. Unplug the stretcher power cord from the wall socket.
2. Using the foot pedal, pump the litter top all the way up.
3. Remove the four Phillips head cap screws holding the Zoom

carriage access panel to the plastic base
hood. Remove the access panel and set it aside.
4. Using a 1/2
”
socket with extension, and a 3/8
”
drive ratchet, remove the kep nuts at each corner of the
enclosure assembly.
5. Cut all cable ties on cables from the enclosure assembly.
6. Disconnect all cable connectors from the enclosure assembly and push the connectors back down
through the battery tray.
7. Remove the enclosure assembly.
NOTE
The internal components of the electrical enclosure are not user serviceable. Return the entire assembly for
service (see
for return authorization guidelines).
