3. Trouble-Shooting

Error Message
Dresser movement error. Check air. Check the compressed air
supply and the free movement
of the dresser.
Stone at minimum, new stone
required.
Replace the grinding stone.
Specimen holder moving while
carrousel is moving.
Call technical service
Specimen holder moving error.
The Specimen holder cannot
move up or down.
Check that the specimen holder
head moves freely upwards. If
necessary, lubricate spindle
through the lubricating nipple in
the dresser room.
If that does not help, call
technical service.
Low water pressure. Check
water supply.
Check that the water inlet and
all hoses are connected
correctly and that the water
pressure is sufficient. If the
water supply has been
interrupted, there might be air in
the system. Re-start 2 - 3 times
by pressing F1:Continue.
Timeout in removal mode.
Reduce stock removal or
increase force.
Start the process with a higher
force or reduce the total amount
of material to be removed.
Removal error, force too low.
Reduce stock removal or
increase force.
