- Do not use the electric scarifier in the rain or in damp or wet conditions.
- Be especially careful when working on elevated terrain (slopes). Always work in a direction transverse to
the slope, never upwards or downwards.
- Be especially careful when changing direction on a slope.
- Do not use the electric scarifier on excessively steep slopes.
- Do not work with the scarifier near the edges of swimming pools or garden ponds.
- Do not operate the appliance when you are tired, unfocused or after influence of medication. Always take
a work break early. Use common sense at work. One moment of inattention while using the electric scarifier
can cause serious injuries.
- Keep the extension cord out of the reach of the scarifier roller!
- The socket of the extension cable must be waterproof to protect against splashing water, or it must be made
from rubber or have a rubber cover and must be valid according to the requirements of
DIN VDE 0620
.
- Only use approved rubber extension cords of sufficient length with a suitable cable cross-section that is
valid according to the requirements of
DIN VDE 0282.
Consult an electrician or an authorized service center
about the suitability of the extension cable.
Interrupting work
- ATTENTION
After switching off the machine, the roller rotates for a few seconds. Keep your hands and feet
away from him!
- ATTENTION!
Never leave the electric scarifier in the work area without supervision.
- When you stop working, place the machine in a safe location.
- If you stop working in order to move to a different work location, always turn the electric scarifier off while
carrying it.
- In the event that you hit an obstacle while scarifying, turn off the electric scarifier and remove the obstacle.
Check the electric scarifier for damage and have it repaired if necessary.
RESIDUAL RISKS
- Even if you are operating this product in accordance with all the safety requirements, potential risks of
injury and damage remain.
- The following dangers can arise in connection with the structure and design of this product:

hearing damage if appropriate protection is not used

health defects resulting from caused by vibration if the device is used for a long time or has not
been properly maintained.
- WARNING!
This product produces an electromagnetic field during operation! This field may under some
circumstances interfere with active or passive medical implants! To reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury,
we recommend persons with medical implants to consult their doctor and the medical implant manufacturer
before operating this product!
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION
UNPACKING
- Unpack the packaging and choose from it all parts that are supplied with the electric scarifier (e.g.
instructions for use, etc.) and store them in a safe place.
- Remove the electric scarifier from the package and check that there are no parts left in the package.
- If any damage or missing parts are found, do not use the device and contact your dealer or authorized
service center.
- Before assembling and starting the electric scarifier, read carefully the entire instructions manual and the
instructions in them.
