Thank you for selecting the H.I.D. LiteBox/ E-Flood LiteBox HL. As with any fine tool,

 

reasonable care and maintenance of this product will provide years of dependable service. 

Please read this manual before using your H.I.D. LiteBox/ E-Flood LiteBox HL. It includes

 

important safety and operating instructions and should be saved. 

OPERATION 

Charge the H.I.D. LiteBox/ E-Flood LiteBox HL overnight before first use.

• H.I.D. LiteBox/ E-Flood LiteBox HL features a three position switch that controls the

operation of the lamp. Push the switch upward to operate from the internal battery
or downward to operate from external 12VDC power via the supplied 10 foot cord.

• The center position is the "off" position.

• Depending on the actual ballast and lamp used in the H.I.D. LiteBox, the H.I.D. lamp

may flash intermittently or suddenly extinguish altogether at the end of the H.I.D.
run time (internal battery only).

• The H.I.D. LiteBox features a swivel head that rotates 270 degrees. Pull side tabs to

release. DO NOT force the head beyond its swivel stops. Resecure the head when
not in use.

• The E-Flood LiteBox HL features a pivoting head that can be adjusted upward or

downward as desired. Loosen the handle mounted pivot control knob and direct the
head to the desired position. Tighten the knob to maintain the adjustment.

• The center of the lens on the E-Flood LiteBox HL is equipped with a concentric switch

that is used to select the brightness setting (Hi-Med-Lo). Depress the center of the
switch to select the desired output. The outer ring of the switch can be turned to
achieve a more or less defined beam spread.

DANGER: HIGH VOLTAGE 

The H.I.D. lamp requires thousands of volts at startup

and has high internal pressure. DO NOT operate the H.I.D. LiteBox unless the lamp
and ballast assemblies are properly mounted inside the head, and the reflector/lens
assembly and the lens ring are in place.

WARNING

: Never leave your H.I.D. LiteBox/ E-Flood LiteBox HL with its lamp face

against any surface including skin while in operation. The resultant heat build-up
can cause a fire or burns.
