Switching on the machine
Do not leave the compressor unattended during operation or maintenance procedures.
1. Connect the compressor to the mains supply by inserting the power plug into a suitable socket.
2. Switch on the compressor by setting the "ON/OFF" switch to the "ON (I)" position (the compressor operates until the
operating pressure of 5 bar is reached, then it switches off automatically).
3. Use the pressure regulator to adjust the pressure at the outlet in accordance with the application and tool used.
Check the pressure on the manometer.
CAUTION:
Do not turn the pressure regulating switch on the air outlet beyond the limit stop!
To adjust the controller button, you first need to lightly pull it up so that it disengages from the safety position. After
completing the adjustment, latch the controller button again.
4. Connect the air hose to the compressed air outlet.
5. Connect the tool to the air hose.
6. The machine is now ready for use (the machine restarts automatically when the operating pressure falls below 4
bar).
7. Switch off the compressor when work is complete.
8. Recommendation for setting the working pressure and air volume
The compressor is preset to a working pressure of 5 bar. At this pressure, the compressor delivers an airflow of approx.
200 l/min. This is the range in which the max. air and pressure performance is generated. All changes at the pressure
regulator either reduce the airflow, or the pressure. The setting best suited for your application always depends on the
material you are processing, and the pressure tool you are using. Please perform test spraying.
