Maintenance as required
DANGER
Before changing the battery, park the truck. Ensure
that the truck is on a flat surface and cannot move
accidentally.
Ensure that the unlocked battery cannot slide off
and fall onto the ground. Risk of crushing hands
and feet!
– Raise the forks up to the limit stop using the
button (1).
– Open the battery compartment cover (2)
by pushing the lever (3) sideways and then
pull the handle (4) upwards until the battery
compartment is completely open.

DANGER
"Risk of crushing hands" as indicated by the two
stickers (13). Check that the battery compartment
cover remains completely open. Check the gas
spring daily to ensure it is able to keep the battery
compartment open to prevent it from closing acci-
dentally.
Do not place your hands between the battery and
the truck chassis.
Sticker (13): silver background (13) with black
symbol (15) inside and danger symbol with black
border and yellow background (16).(17)

– Press the button (5), the lifting device will
rise beyond the lock, moving the battery into
the removal position.
DANGER
The truck can still be manoeuvred, even with the
battery raised. However, before driving the truck,
make sure that the battery lifting device is lowered,
the battery compartment cover is closed and the
battery is properly secured by the locking devices
(14).
– Turn off the truck using the key (6).
– Remove the plug (7) from the battery
socket.
