Work that must also be carried out
– Carry out servicing work; see the chapter
entitled "Servicing".
– Carry out maintenance after three months;
see the chapter entitled "Maintenance after
three months".
– Carry out maintenance after six months;
see the chapter entitled "Maintenance after
six months".
Changing the hydraulic oil
WARNING
Consumables are toxic!
– Note safety regulations for working
with hydraulic oil, see ⇒ Chap-
ter "Oils", P. 3-23.

– Jack up the industrial truck, see ⇒ Chap-
ter "Jacking up", P. 6-64.

– Place a suitable collection container under
drain plug (1).
– Unscrew drain plug (1) and allow all the oil
to drain off.
ENVIRONMENT NOTE
• Dispose of used oil according to applicable
regulations.
– Change the sealing ring (2).
– Tighten the drain plug to 30 Nm.
– Top up with hydraulic oil of the correspond-
ing specification, see ⇒ Chapter "Mainte-
nance data table", P. 6-62.
– Actuate the lifting system several times.
– Check the oil level and top up as necessary.
