Attach the snap ring (1) to the
magnet (2) so that the snap ring
gap is on the flat side of the tool's
shank (arrow).

Push the large slotted diameter of
the sleeve 5910 893 1706 over
the magnet and snap ring.

The inner pin (1) must point towards
the flat face (2) of the tool's shank.

Press the installing tool
downwards into the sleeve until
the magnet butts against the end
of the guide slot.

Use a suitable base (wooden
board).

Remove the sleeve and push it
on to the other end of the shank
as far as stop.

The inner pin (arrow) must again

Apply the installing tool

taper against the piston boss,
hold the piston steady, center the
tool shank exactly and press

Fit the snap ring (1) so that its
gap (arrow) points down – it must
not be near the recess (2).
