Transporting the Machine
Always turn off the engine and always fit
the blade scabbard over the cutting
blades – even when you carry the
machine for short distances.
Carry the power tool by the handle –
cutting blades behind you. Avoid
touching hot parts of the machine,
especially the muffler and gear housing
– you could suffer serious burns.
Transporting in a vehicle:
Properly
secure your unit to prevent turnover, fuel
spillage and damage.
Fueling
Gasoline is an
extremely flammable
fuel.
Keep clear of naked
flames and fire. Do not
spill any fuel – do not
smoke.
Always
shut off the engine
before
refueling.
Do not fuel a hot engine – fuel may spill
and cause a fire.
Open the fuel cap carefully to allow any
pressure build-up in the tank to release
slowly and avoid fuel spillage.
