Position the cutting attachment (2)
on the cone (3).

Pull the annular magnet forward
against the cutting attachment – the
magnet holds the cutting
attachment in position.
Removing the Cutting Attachment

Release the cutting attachment
from the annular magnet with a
sharp pull.
N
If the balancer has not been used
for a prolonged period or if the test
is carried out at low temperatures,
rotate the cutting attachment
several times to ensure the spindle
bearing runs freely.
N
Test the cutting attachment during
or after resharpening.
Testing axial out-of-balance
N
Fit the cutting attachment.
