Operate at ambient temperatures

b 5°C and + 40°C.
To reduce the risk of electric shock or

short circuit, do not insert any objects in

the analyzer's cooling slots.
Never bridge the contacts of the

analyzer with metallic objects (e.g. nails,

coins, jewellery) – short circuit. The

analyzer may be damaged by a short

circuit.
Do not operate in a hazardous location,

i.e. in a location where there are

combustible liquids (fumes), vapors or

dusts. The analyzer may produce

sparks, which may ignite the dust or

vapors – risk of explosion.
In the event of smoke or fire in the

analyzer, disconnect it from the wall

outlet immediately.

Never jerk the power cord to disconnect

it from the wall outlet. To unplug, grasp

the plug, not the cord. Have a damaged

power cord repaired by a qualified

electrician.

Do not use the power cord or connecting

cord for any other purpose, e.g. for

carrying or hanging up the analyzer.
Check the power cord and plug for

damage before each use. Never use

damaged cords and plugs or connecting

cords that do not comply with

regulations.
To reduce the risk of stumbling, position

and mark the power cord so that it

cannot be damaged or endanger others.
To reduce the risk of electric shock:

Always connect the cord to a

properly installed wall outlet.

Make sure the insulation of the

power cord and plug is in good

condition.

After using the analyzer, unplug it from

the wall outlet.
Before leaving the analyzer unattended

or transporting or storing it, remove the

battery and take the adapter out of the

cordless power tool.
Store the analyzer out of the reach of

children.
Clean plastic surfaces with a cloth. Do

not use aggressive detergents. They

may damage the plastic.

Mains voltage and operating voltage of

the analyzer must be the same.

N

Insert the mains plug (1) in the wall

outlet (2).

The display shows the following

information as soon as the analyzer is

connected to the wall outlet:

The analyzer then performs a self test.

During this process the light emitting

diode (3) on the analyzer glows green

for about 1 second, then yellow, then red

and goes off again.

When self test is completed:

N

Insert the battery in the analyzer –

see "Testing Cordless Power Tool".

Use and store only

indoors in dry locations.

Inspect the analyzer's

power cord, the connect

-

ing cord to the power tool

and the adapter for dam

-

age at regular intervals. If

the power cord is dam

-

aged, immediately

disconnect the plug from

the wall outlet to avoid

the risk of electric shock.
