6.2 Checking the engine oil level
Check the oil level every time before using to
ensure it is correct. The machine should be
standing on level ground.
Wipe clean around the oil dipstick. Un-
screw and pull it up. Wipe off the dipstick.
Slide it down completely and pull up
again. Read off the oil level. Undo the oil

mark if the oil level is below this mark
(fig. 14, 18).
6.3 Checking the transmission oil
level

Read off the oil level in the reservoir (fig. 15). It
should be between the “MAX“ and “MIN“ marks.
If necessary, top up with more oil. Use oil SAE

6.4 Checking the cooling air intake
Check before starting the machine that the area
where combustion air and cooling air are drawn in
is free of excessive dirt (fig. 16). This should be
cleaned if necessary. Contact your nearest author-

6.6 Starting engine
1. Check that the battery cables are correctly con-
nected.
2. Do not keep your foot on the drive pedal.
3. Put the throttle control at full throttle.
4. Depress the brake pedal fully.
5. Turn the ignition key and start the engine. The
engine does not need to be preheated.
6. When starting from cold, do not make the ma-
chine work under load immediately, but let the en-

oil to warm up. When in use, always operate the
engine at full throttle.
