Push the filter frame towards the filter so that you can slide it
past the locking tab. Pull out the filter frame.

Check to see how heavily contaminated the filter is.
If the filter is heavily contaminated (solid layer of dust or distinct
discolouration), you must replace the filter with a new one. If the
filter is only lightly contaminated, you can continue to use it.

If the filter needs to be replaced, remove it carefully and dis-
pose of it with household waste.

Clean the filter box, e.g. with a vacuum cleaner.

Insert the new filter. Pay attention to the direction of flow.

Insert the filter frame into the appropriate guide slot. At the
bottom, the filter frame is held in position in a V-shaped
groove. Push the filter frame down far enough that it clicks
into place below the locking tab.

Position the cover on the filter box.

Secure the cover by tightening the star grip screws by hand.

Enter the maintenance data (date for next check) into the
label on the filter box.

If necessary, perform a filter reset on the control unit.

Switch the ventilation system back ON again.

Order new filters in good time.
