1 Filter
2 Filter frame
The filter box is supplied with two filter frames. For each filter
frame, the filter box has a rail with several guide slots. This allows
filters with different thicknesses to be used.
4. Troubleshooting
If you cannot remedy the fault, contact your qualified contractor.
To facilitate and speed up your enquiry, please provide the product
name from the filter change label.
5. Maintenance, cleaning and care
Material losses
If the filter box is fitted with the cover facing downwards,
you must stop the filter frames from falling out when
removing the cover.
Locking tabs should prevent the filter frames from slip-
ping out. The pressure from contact with the filter should
hold the filter frame in place below the locking tabs. With
thin filters or if a filter frame is inserted in the filter box
without a filter, the filter frames may fall out when the
cover is removed.
If the filter box is fitted with the cover facing downwards,
do not use fleece filters. These filters are thin. The filter
frame would fall out.
Check the filters regularly, e.g. if one of the following cases occurs:
- The appliance or remote control indicates filter maintenance.
- The maintenance interval has expired; see label on filter box.
- The appliance becomes distinctly louder due to a contami-
nated filter.
The maintenance intervals can differ greatly, e.g. depending on
the season, due to occasional high dust exposure on construction
sites or subject to the air flow rate.
Note
For reasons of hygiene, the filters must be replaced at
least once a year.
