Lock crankshaft, refer 01.00.01

Loosen  Allen head screw SW 8 of belt tensioner and
remove tensioner.

11

Loosen 3 TORX screws for vibration damper by
means of special tool 2300767/0 and remove vibration
damper.

12

Remove timing  belt.

ATTENTION:

With loose and/or removed timing belt,
the camshaft or crankshaft must not
be turned.
This could result in a collision of pistons
and valves.

Pre-set dial gauge to position 20 mm stroke (small
pointer at  20 - inside scale, big pointer at 0 - outside
