10. Remove snap ring and cylinder pin from bottom
mounting bracket (see Figure 7-30).
11. Remove and discard both hydraulic screws and
sealing washers.
12. Replace hydraulic cylinder and reassemble by
reversing procedure.
NOTE: When reassembling the Trendelenburg hydraulic
cylinder, note the following:
1) Replace (do not reuse) hydraulic screws and sealing
washers (see Figure 7-30). Ensure bolt threads,
manifold threads and hose connectors are free of
rubber seal particles.
2) Torque new screws to 12 N•m (106 lbf•in).
3) Ensure distance between cylinder shaft and nut is
1-5/16" (33 mm) - see Figure 7-30.
4) After reassembly, ensure all table functions operate
properly.
5) Check hydraulic oil level with table completely
lowered and tabletop level. Level should be 2-9/16"
(65 mm).

Replacement
7.19 MAIN VALVE BLOCK
REPLACEMENT
Replace the main hydraulic valve block as follows:
1. Remove six lower screws from table column plastic
cap (see Figure 7-25) and allow table column cover
to lower to base cover.
2. Engage floor locks.
3. Position tabletop to level, slide to center position.
4. Remove leg section.
5. Raise tabletop to full height.
6. Lower back section to maximum down position.
7. Position tabletop to maximum Reverse
Trendelenburg.
8. Tilt to maximum left tilt.
9. Secure height with 1"x 2" block (approximately 16"
long) placed under column and properly support
tabletop (see Figure 7-31) for when hydraulic block
is disconnected and tabletop is free to move.

10. Turn Main Power Switch to OFF and remove
battery fuse (refer to supplied Operator Manual
for more information).
11. Disconnect all hydraulic connections. Remove
and discard all hydraulic screws and sealing
washers (see Figure 7-32).
NOTE: Mark each hydraulic and electrical
connection so they are easily returned to proper
connection points.
