NOTE: Before removing battery cables, note
position of cables on the batteries for reattachment.
5. Before replacing batteries, verify (see Figure 7-16):
• Same engraved number (typically located on
plastic top of each battery) on both batteries.
Ensure both batteries are manufactured by same
vendor.
• For new batteries, difference in voltage does not
exceed 0.2 V.
6. Reverse procedure to install new batteries.

7.7 POWER SUPPLY REPLACEMENT
1. Turn Main Power Switch to OFF, remove power
cord (if installed) and remove battery fuse (refer to
supplied Operator Manual for more information).
2. Remove Table Column Cover (see
).
3. Remove and save four screws at head side of base
cover (see Figure 7-3).
4. Remove stainless-steel base cover and set aside in
safe location.
5. Remove and save Ground Equalization Terminal
(Male Connection) and fender washer from Power
Panel (see Figure 7-17).
6. Remove and save two socket head cap screws
fastening power supply to table frame.
7. Carefully slide power supply away from table
frame and gently lift to remove from table taking
care not to damage LED display.
8. Disconnect four cables from rear of power supply.
9. Reverse procedure to install new power supply.

7.8 FLOOR LOCK CYLINDER
REPLACEMENT
1. Unlock floor locks (ensure table rests on casters).
2. Remove Table Column Cover (see
3. Remove appropriate Table Base Cover (see
) to gain
access to floor lock assembly needing service.
4. Remove and discard hydraulic screw and sealing
washers from top of cylinder (see Figure 7-18).
5. Remove and discard three mounting screws.

6. Carefully lift cylinder (and spacer if equipped) from
table base. Ensure not to crimp hydraulic cable.
7. Remove foot (leveling mount) from cylinder and
attach to new cylinder. Ensure not to damage
cylinder shaft.
NOTE: For swivel foot, use thin wrench (P764330-
220) to carefully remove foot.
8. Install new hydraulic screw and sealing washers to
new cylinder. Torque screw to 12 N•m (106 lbf•in).
