plastic base cover for future procedures, spray Dry Lubricant
Spray NG 202 (P752870-091) along the bottom edge before
applying the RTV.

7.4 TABLE BASE COVER ASSEMBLY
To gain access to most of the Cmax Surgical Table
hydraulic and electrical components, the stainless-
steel Table Column Cover (or shroud) and/or Table
Base Cover must be removed. Remove the Table Base
Cover as follows:
7.4.1 Original or Three-Part Cover (Shroud)
1. Remove Table Column Cover (see
).
2. Remove and save four screws at head side of base
cover (see Figure 7-3).

3. Remove and save four screws at foot side of base
cover (see Figure 7-4).
4. Remove stainless-steel base cover and set aside in
safe location.
5. Remove and save four screws (see Figure 7-5)
fastening plastic base cover to table frame.

location.

7.4.2 Two-Part Base Shroud (Stainless-Steel)
1. Remove Table Column Cover (see

base.
NOTE: Ensure both base cover spacers are removed from
base and saved with mounting screws.
3. Remove stainless-steel base cover and set aside in
safe location.
4. Note all locations that foam tape has been applied.
Replace tape to seal base.
7.5 SEALING TABLE COVERS
Whenever the Table Column cover assembly
(
) and/or
Table Base cover (
) are removed and then returned, the covers
need sealed to prevent fluid intrusion to meet IPX4
requirements. Seal the covers as follows:
NOTE: Remove all old sealant and clean all mating parts
before reapplying the silicone sealant. Use RTV 123 Black
Silicone Sealant (R005300-568).
