Function testing
•
Send Level and Mix leftmost, EQ-knobs to 50 %
•
Trimmer 'Current Limit' somewhere in the middle
•
Plug an audio signal into the In-jack and connect the Out-jack with your mixer.
Keep levels low at the beginning to avoid damage to your equipment or - more
important - your ears.
•
The output should deliver just the dry input signal right now
•
Now turn Mix to the right to about 9:00 o'clock. The amp for the tank is very
sensistive and can deliver high levels.
•
Now open the "Send Level" slowly, maybe to 9:00 o'clock. The reverb sound
should come to hear
•
Turn Mix slowly up to fullmost right, you will just hear the 100 % wet reverb
sound. If reverb gets to loud, compensate by decreasing send level. Play around
with the Current Limit Trimmer and the Equalizer to get a feeling for the sound
palette of the module
•
Now turn Mix back to have more dry than wet ratio and slowly increase the
Send Level. The tank should increasingly distort. By playing with current Limit
and the EQ you will find out everything about your tank's sonic potenial.
