11. Measuring direct voltage V - - -
Voltage is the electrical potential difference between two points. The
polarity of the alternating current voltage varies with time; voltage polarity
of the direct current is constant.
1. Connect the red testing lead to

and the black testing lead to

.
2. Turn the knob to the V --- function and realize the measurement.
To avoid electrical shock or instrument damage, avoid taking measurements with
voltages above 600 V or 600 V AC CD RMS. Do not apply more than 600 V or 600 V
AC CD rms between the common terminal and ground.
