Si utiliza baterías:
1.- Deslice la tapa del compartimiento de baterías (Fig. 1).
2.- Inserte 2 baterías alcalinas o recargables de NiCD (con suficiente
carga) tipo “AA” respetando la polaridad (Fig. 2).
3.- Coloque nuevamente la tapa del compartimiento de las baterías.
Nota:
Es recomendable cambiar las baterías si en la pantalla de LCD aparece el
símbolo parpadeando.
Si utiliza el adaptador de corriente:
1.- Inserte el plug del adaptador de corriente en la entrada localizada en la
parte lateral del reproductor de CD.
2.- Conecte el adaptador a un tomacorriente de pared de 120V~ 60 Hz.
Notas:
Cuando el reproductor de CD esté equipado con baterías en su interior y
conectada con un adaptador de corriente, se selecciona automáticamente
el adaptador en lugar de las baterías para el suministro de energía.
Asegúrese que el voltaje de su conexión eléctrica doméstica corresponde
con el voltaje del adaptador de corriente.
No toque el adaptador de corriente con las manos mojadas.
Uso de baterías recargables:
1.- Abra el compartimiento de baterías como se mencionó anteriormente
(Fig. 1).
2.- Inserte 2 baterías recargables de NiCd poniendo atención a la
polaridad (Fig. 2).
3.- Cierre la tapa del compartimiento de las baterías.
4.- Conecte el adaptador de corriente a su reproductor de CD.
5.- Deslice el interruptor de carga (Charge) a la posición de encendido
(ON). Comenzará la carga de baterías. Deje cargando las baterías por 3
horas (Fig. 3).
6.- Deslice el interruptor de carga (Charge) a la posición de apagado
(OFF). Desconecte el adaptador de corriente.
Notas:
No mezcle baterías recargables (Niquel – Cadmio) con baterías alcalinas
o de carbón.
No intente cargar baterías alcalinas o de carbón. Pueden explotar.
No utilice baterías de NiMh
No cargue de forma continúa por más de 24 horas las baterías, de otra
forma puede reducir el tiempo de vida de éstas.
Si el tiempo de uso de las baterías recargables disminuye
considerablemente, aun cuando hayan sido recargadas correctamente,
acuda a un distribuidor autorizado para la compra de un nuevo juego de
baterías recargables.
ENERGY SOURCE
If using batteries:
1.- Remove the battery cover by sliding it (Fig. 1).
2.- Insert two AA batteries within the battery compartment. (You can use
either alkaline batteries or rechargeable NiCD batteries as long as they are
fully charged.) Make sure to always respect the signaled polarity (Fig. 2).
3.- Replace the battery cover.
Note:
It is recommended to replace the batteries as soon as the symbol
appears and begins to flash.
If using the AC adaptor:
1.- Connect the plug from the AC adaptor to the AC jack located on the
back part of your CD player.
2.- Connect the AC adaptor to the home power source 120 V~ 60 Hz.
Notes:
When the CD player has batteries installed and is also connected to the
AC adaptor at the same time, the CD player will automatically choose to
take energy from the AC adaptor thus extending the battery life.
Make sure that the voltage from your home power source corresponds
with the voltage required by the AC adaptor.
Do not touch the AC adaptor with wet hands.
If using rechargeable batteries:
1.- Remove the battery cover by sliding it (Fig. 1).
2.- Insert two NiCD AA batteries within the battery compartment. Make
sure to always respect the signaled polarity (Fig. 2).
3.- Replace the battery cover.
4.- Connect the AC adaptor to your CD player.
5.- Set the charge switch to the “ON” position. This will begin the charging
of your rechargeable batteries. Leave the batteries charging for
approximately 3 hours (Fig. 3).
6.- Once the batteries have finished charging, set the charge switch to the
“OFF” position. Disconnect the AC adaptor.
Notes:
Do not mix rechargeable batteries (Nickel – Cadmium) with alkaline or
carbon batteries.
Do not attempt to charge alkaline or carbon batteries. Charging them
could cause them to explode.
Do not use Nickel metal hydride batteries (NiMh)
Do not charge the batteries for more than 24 consecutive hours. Doing so
could reduce the battery life.
If your rechargeable batteries are starting to lose usable life even when
they are properly charged, these need to be replaced.
