CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Sharp points.

Adult assembly required.

WARNING: Use for children from ages 3 to 8 years old.

Maximum user weight: 75 lbs (34 kg) per child.

OBSERVE ALL STATEMENTS AND WARNINGS TO REDUCE THE

LIKELIHOOD OF SERIOUS OR FATAL INJURY.

SAVE THIS SHEET FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

SAFETY INFORMATION:

1. Create an obstacle-free site to reduce injury. Maintain a minimum

distance of 6.5 feet (2 m) from structures or obstructions (examples:

a fence, buildings, garages, houses, low hanging branches, tree

stumps/roots, large rocks, bricks, concrete, laundry lines, or

  electrical wires.

2. Choose a level location for the equipment to reduce the likelihood

of the play set tip-ping over and loose fill surfacing materials from

  washing away during heavy rains.

3. Fall Height: 70 inches. Do not install product or surfacing material

over concrete, asphalt, packed earth, grass, carpet or any other hard

surface. Playground equipment for home use SHOULD NOT

BE USED indoors without installed fall protection. A fall onto

a hard surface can result in serious injury. Playground Surfacing

Materials guidelines for acceptable fall protection are included In

this instruction sheet (see table X3.1). To maintain the appropriate

level of loose fill material, use containment, such as digging out

around the perimeter and/or lining it with landscaping edging.

Installations of rubber tiles or poured-in-place surfaces (other than

loose-fill materials) generally require a professional and are not

  “do- it- yourself”projects.
4. Locate bare metal platforms and slides (metal, plastic or otherwise)

out of direct sun light to reduce the likelihood of serious burns. A

slide that  faces north will receive the least direct sunlight.

5. Provide enough room so that children can use equipment safely

(example: for structures with multiple activities, a slide should not

exit in front of a swing).

6. Separate active and quiet activities from each other (examples:

locate sandboxes away from swings or use a guardrail barrier to

separate the sandbox from the movement of the swings).

7. Check to be sure all connections are tight. DO NOT allow children

to play on the product until it is fully assembled.

8. This product must be used only with its anchor stakes in place.

Install the stake anchors at a 45º angle to the ground to help

prevent the unit from lifting from a wind gust. Drive the stakes level

with the ground or below ground level so that they will not present

a hazard for children who run or play around the unit. For sandy soil

or loose soil conditions, all anchoring devices must be placed

below the level of the playing surface to prevent tripping or injury

  resulting from a fall.

9. To minimize risks posed by drill shavings, screws are designed to pierce

the plastic and form their own threads. Use caution not to over-tighten

screws or they will not hold parts together appropriately.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Provide adualt supervision at all times.

2. Limit: 4 children. Maximum user weight: 75 lbs (34 kg). Maximum

weight per Swing: 75  lbs. (34 kg).

3. Dress children appropriately, including wearing well-fitting shoes

  that fully protect feet.

4. Instruct children:

-to sit in the center of the swings with their full weight on the seats,

    -to avoid swinging empty seats,

-to slide feet first; one child down slide at a time,

-to remove articles, before playing on equipment, that create

hazards when they get tangled and caught. Examples include:

ponchos, scarves, and other loose-fitting clothing, bike or other

  sports helmets.

-not to walk close to, in front of, behind, or between moving items,

-not to twist swing chains or ropes or loop them over the top

support bar since this may reduce the strength of the chain or rope,

-not to get off equipment while it is in motion,

-not to attach items to the playground equipment that are not

specifically designed for use with the equipment, examples:

     - jump ropes, clothesline, pet leashes, cables and chain as they may

  cause a strangulation hazard.

5. Never allow children to:

     - use the equipment in a manner other than intended,

     - climb on equipment when it is snow-covered or wet.

    - use this product when temperatures fall below 32ºF (0ºC).

Plastic materials may become brittle and crack.

6. Check suspended climbing ropes, chain, or cable. Make sure they;

       a) are secured at both ends, and

       b) that they cannot be looped back on itself.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Inspect the product periodically for loose or damaged compo-

nents. At the beginning of each season, re-install any plastic parts,

such   as swings, rope ladders, etc., that may have been removed

and stored during the winter months.

Check  the following items at the beginning of each season at least

WARNING: STRANGULATION HAZARDSerious injury or

death can occur.

DO NOT:

-  attach jump ropes, clothes lines, pet leashes or other loose

hanging items not specifically designed for use with this

 equipment.

the sleeves, or clothing such as capes, ponchos, or items

  with drawstrings at the neck.

-  allow children to wear helmets while playing on equipment

-  allow children to wear items around their necks such as

  necklaces, canteens, purses and binoculars.

WARNING: SERIOUS HEAD INJURY OR DEATH CAN OCCUR.

Falls to a hard surface can result in serious injury or death.

Do not install playground equipment over hard surfaces such

as concrete asphalt, packed earth, grass, carpet or any other
