USING THE SFFR.74 LARGE REDUCER/FLATTENER
WITH SVX102T OR SVX102T-R (3” STELLARVUE FOCUSER)
To use the SFFR102T-3SV Reducer/Flattener, un-screw the 1 1/4” and 2” eyepiece adapters from the focuser.
Next, remove the knurl focuser adapter, by turning it counter-clockwise. If this adapter has small set screws
locking it is place, these will need to be loosened.
Once the knurled focuser
adapter is removed, take the
SFFR.74 Reducer/Flattener and
insert into the open end of the
draw-tube of the focuser.
Thread into the focuser draw-
tube by turning clockwise.
Once the Reducer/Flattener is
securely hand-tightened, this
conversion is complete.
Now attach your camera to the
flattener/reducer. If your sys-
tem needs extension tubes or
spacer rings, place them in
between the camera and the
reducer/flattener.

(3” STELLARVUE FOCUSER)
To use the SFF4-102T Field Flattener, un-screw the 1 1/4” and 2” eyepiece adapters from the focuser. The
SFF4-102T can then thread onto the focuser. This process is easily accomplished without any tools.
