AC Auto: this mode sets the adjustment values of
the ptimized AC parameters. Only the welding
current can be changed.
The AC Auto function symbol appears on the main
screen.
Soft AC: in this mode it is possible to obtain a
sinusoidal wave form that allows the creation of a
soft and fluid arc significantly reducing the noise of
the welding.
The Soft AC function symbol appears on the main
screen.
Triangular AC: with this mode you can obtain a
triangular wave form o that allows to reach the
maximum peak of current while reducing the
overall heat input. The rapid formation of melting
points reduces the overall welding time avoiding
material distortions especially for thin thickness.
The Triangular AC function symbol will appear on
the main screen.
Asymmetric Set: with this mode it is possible to
choose which part of the current you want to
reduce; by default it is the Ep but you can also
select the En which allows maximum cleaning with
minimum penetration.
PULSE WELDING
To activate the PULSE mode, press the Pulse
Mode button on Home (ref. Page 7 “e”) and enter
into the PULSE-MAIN SETTINGS menu:
a Frequency (0,4Hz
– 999,9Hz)
b Duty Cycle (10%-90%);
c I Base (10%-90%) ;
d PULSE ON/OFF;
e Sequence;
f Home page;
THE FREQUENCY ADJUSTMENT IN
ELECTRODE MODE IS BETWEEN 0.1 AND 5HZ
WHILE IN TIG IT IS FROM 0.4 TO 999.9HZ.
ATTENTION: IF THE AC MODE IS ACTIVE, THE
PULSATION FREQUENCY IN TIG IS LIMITED TO
10HZ.
Pulsed welding in AC mode cannot be activated in
the Soft Ac and Triangular AC waveforms.
