Functions by infrared remote control

Any number of sensIQ can be controlled by remote
control.

Note:

Each sensIQ has a maximum of one remote

control. When the remote control is used for the first
time, the latter must be "taught". In order to do this,
the button     must be pressed within 10 min. of switch-
ing on the supply voltage. This operation can be repeat-
ed as often as desired.
The last remote control saved always applies.

LED display

Each valid press of the button is indicated by a single
flash of the red LED behind the lens. The LED sensor
display is subsequently deactivated for approx. 5 sec.
If the remote control has not yet been "taught", the LED
flashes rapidly 3x at each press of the button.
The following special functions are presented as follows:
Holiday function:

LED flashes rapidly 3x every 5 sec.

Manual override:

LED permanently ON

Permanent light OFF: LED flashes every 2 sec.

Reset function:

Press once to quit the holiday, manual override and
permanent light OFF functions. The previously set
values apply again.

Holiday function:

The holiday function simulates presence. Once the twi-
light threshold is reached, the connected load is pro-
grammed to switch ON and OFF for periods of approx.
3 hours. Normal sensor mode remains active.

LED display:

3 x rapid flashing every 5 sec.

ON time:

By pressing, the connected light fixture is switched ON
for 4 hours. The sensor subsequently returns to sensor
mode automatically.

LED display:

permanently ON.

Permanent light OFF:

By pressing, the connected light fixture is switched OFF
for 6 hours. The sensor subsequently returns to sensor
mode automatically.

LED display:

flashes every 2 sec.

Twilight setting by memory button:

Under desired light conditions in which the sensor
should subsequently react to movement, the button
should be pressed. The current twilight value is saved.

Twilight setting by the potentiometer on
the device:

By pressing the button, the twilight value set on the
sensor is applied again. As soon as you change the
twilight setting on the device, this value will be adopted.
Any adjustments of the remote control are ineffective.

When using the "soft start" mode, the following
additional functions are available for filament bulbs:

Soft start / end:

By pressing the button, any activated basic brightness
is deleted.

Basic brightness :

By pressing the button once, permanent illumination at
night with approx. 25 % light output is achieved.

Basic brightness (until the middle of the night):

As basic brightness; however the constant light of 25 %
output switches OFF from approx. the middle of the
night.

Modules as accessories

The

soft start module

is available as an accessory.

It offers:
1. Softly switching light ON and OFF
2. Basic brightness in the dark

(only until the middle of the night if desired).

Do not use low-energy bulbs or fluorescent lamps in
conjunction with the

SoftStart module

.

The

soft start module

is suitable for connection of an

additional light fixture of max. 100 W. Soft start and
dimming are performed with trailing edge.

With

wireless modules

one or several sensIQ and

RS PRO 1000 sensors and/or slave lights can be
connected to form switching groups.
A fixed cable connection by means of a switching lead
is then no longer required.

This

floating module

provides the capability of using a

floating output on the sensIQ for operating independent
devices or systems.
