The first pressing of the "HOLD" switch stops the readings (the display shows
"H",
(C)).
Pressing it again switches the meter to normal operating mode.

The "FUNC" button allows the selection of available functions.

To select an appropriate measurement range, move the slide control to a
specified parameter:

Resistance measurement
A.
Set the slide control (4), in R/D/C (Resistance, diode, capacitance) position.
B.
Connect the probes (6, 7) to the resistor under test. The "+" sign on the cap
housing must match the "+" sign on the main module housing.
C.
Press the "FUNC" button and select the "SCAN" function (the meter recognizes
the element tested and automatically selects the correct measurement).
D.
To select the "AUTO" manual measurement range, select the "AUTO" function
with the "FUNC" button. The display will show the "AUTO" symbol and the
resistance measurement unit "Ω".
E.
Read the measured measurement on the display.
