Brief introduction about transmitter
button function
In the PIN code mode, press the buttons (1, 2, 3, 4)
to set up the PIN.
The transmitter is for reference only, the actual
tranmitters may vary.
Arming button
Press button to arm in alarm arming mode and lock
the doors.
Mute button
Press
button to arm in mute arming mode and lock
the doors.
Disarming button
Press button to disarm the system and unlock the
doors.
Panic button/ locating button
Press button once, the siren will chirp for 15 seconds
with turn signals flashing in alarm arming mode (only
turn signals flashing in mute arming mode).
Trunk release button
Press button to release the trunk.
Set up the PIN code
Turn key to ACC ON, press button for 3 seconds, the
siren chips once. Press the buttons (
1, 2, 3, 4)
to set up
the 4-digit PIN code. Press button for 3 seconds to save
the PIN and exit, the siren will chirp once.
When a new transmitter is programmed
, a new PIN has
to be set up, otherwise the system will have no PIN code
function.
Factory setting: NO PIN code.
Use the PIN code
In arming mode with PIN code, press button, the siren
will chirp three times, turn signals will flash once, key in
the correct PIN code, the siren will chirp twice and the
system will be disarmed and the door will be unlocked.
If the PIN entered is incorrect, the siren will chirp three
times, turn signals will flash once. If you enter the wrong
PIN code five times, the alarm will be triggered and
chirping for 30 seconds. You can stop the alarm chirping
by pressing button after 4 seconds, however, you can
not key in the new PIN until 3 minutes later.
If you enter the wrong PIN code 5 times again, the alarm
will be triggered and chirping for 30 seconds. You can not
key in the new PIN until 10 minutes later.
If you enter the wrong PIN code 5 times for the third time,
all the previous actions will repeat, however, you can not
key in the new PIN until 15 minutes later.
PIN code mode off
Turn key to ACC ON, press button for 5 seconds, the
siren will chirp once, this confirms the PIN code mode
is turned off.
You can turn off the PIN code mode when valet parking,
servicing the car, etc.
