and adjust the guiding plate

to the same
edgebanding width by loosening the lock lever and
adjust the guide plate position using the guide plate
height scale.
◊ guidE plaTE adJusTMEnT
The surface of the guide plate must be perpendicular
to the pressure roller which applies the banding to the
edge of the piece.
For most operations, the guide plate is set 90° to the
feed rollers. Should the application require to set the
angle at a different value, it can be adjusted with a
variation of +/- 15° .
Loosen screw (1). Use a precision square even with the
face of outfeed roller and across the face of the guide
plate. Loosen the lock lever so the face rests on the
square (2).
Tighten the screw (1) to lock in 90° position. Set the ‘0’
on the angle indicator by loosening the screws (3) and
adjust the scale (4) to ‘0’. Tighten the screws.

After the guide plate angle is correctly adjusted, check
that the roller easily contacts the workpiece edge all
around.
The banding lightly exceeds the surface of the
workpiece, but this excess will be removed
subsequently by the trimmer.
Note: Make sure the lock lever is tightened so the
guide plate is secured prior to operation.
