MOTOR,
PULLEY
AND
BELT
ALIGNMENT
The motor, pulley and belt of this machine were aligned in
the manufactury. After many hours of use, it is possible
you have to align them.
1. Remove the belt cover and the two base doors.
2. Using a straight edge,
align the motor and
cutter-head pulleys. The
motor plate can be
moved for alignment by
loosening the set screws
in the motor plate.
3. Adjust for the proper belt tension by raising or lowering
the motor plate, as shown, then tighten the nuts.
Correct tension is obteined when there is approx.
