Getting started

The appliance is suitable for heating water only.
∙
Safely install the device into a pot. The pot must be as high that the device hangs
into the water up till the marking “max” and a distance of at least 1 cm to the
ground is kept in order not to block the water circulation.
∙
Please fill the pot with lukewarm water before use. Pay attention that the water,
together with the food does not exceed the marking “max”.
∙
Plug in the device.
∙
Press the ON / OFF button. The basic setting 60°C and 2 hours lights up in the dis-
play. If the device has already been used, the last setting made appears.
Set temperature and timer
∙
The operation of the touch screen works better with grease-free fingers.
∙
Press the temperature button once to display the values in °C. Pressing it again
changes the values to °F.
∙
Press the temperature button c). The last setting appears.
∙
By constantly pressing the +/- keys, the desired temperature can be set in steps of
1°C up to 90°C. Briefly press the button to adjust the temperature in steps of 0.1°C.
Press the button e) to confirm.
∙
Press the timer button once to set the hours. The hours can be set from 0 to 99
hours by constantly pressing the +/- buttons. By pressing the timer button again,
the minutes can be set from 0 to 59 with the +/- buttons. Press the button e) to
confirm.
∙
The program is started by pressing the start / stop button e). The water circulates in
the container and is heated to the desired temperature.
∙
After reaching the selected temperature, the device clocks and the time begins to
count down.
∙
After the selected time has elapsed, the device runs for a further 60 minutes.
∙
After the extended time has elapsed, the device beeps several times and switches
off.
∙
Note: Due to evaporation, the amount of water decreases during use. Add luke-
warm water from time to time so that the food is always covered with water.
∙
If you want to change the temperature or time during the cooking process, press
the start 7 stop button e). Then, temperature and time can be changed as descri-
bed above. Then, restart the device.
Water quantity
Put the food in the container and then fill the container with water up to the max
mark. The food should always be covered with water. If the food is not surrounded
by water because of an air bubble, put a weight e.g. plate on the bag. If pre-heated
water is used, the temperature sensor needs a few minutes to adjust to the set tem-
perature. If there is no water in the pot, the device will not turn on and beeps E04.
Turn off the appliance, add water and start again.
