The usuage of both plates is identical. Place a suitable pot/pan (min. diameter 12cm)
in the middle of the intended cooking zone. Plug in the appliance. The pilot light at
the “On/Off”
button is on.
Attention:
Do not place any hot pots or pans on the touch control area.
Stand-By-Mode
Press the On/Off button XXX. A buzzer is sounding. If there is no program chosen
within one minute, then the appliance returns to the stand-by mode.
If the appliance is build in, then it must be taken care, that the ventilation openings
are not covered and sufficient air can get to the housing, as it else can overheat.
Power
Press the button for the back plate or the button
for the front plate. A number
can be seen in the display.
By pressing the
button the Wattage can be changed in steps.
Back plate:
1 = Ca 60°C clocked,
2 = Ca 80°C clocked,
3 = 950 Watt, 4 = 1050 Watt,
5 = 1250 Watt, 6 = 1450 Watt,
7 = 1550 Watt, 8 = 1800 Watt
Front plate:
1 = Ca 65°C clocked,
2 = Ca 80°C clocked,
3 = Ca 90°C clocked, 4 = 950 Watt,
5 = 1050 Watt, 6 = 1150 Watt,
7 = 1250 Watt, 8 = 1300 Watt
The appliance is equipped with an overheating protection. When the pots/pans
get too hot, then the appliance will switch off, a buzzer sounds and on the display
appears E02.
In that case, the “On/Off”
button should be pressed and the appliance should cool
down some minutes. After that the appliance is working without problem again.
Timer
The Power is chosen. The press the Timer button .
The display shows “00”. By pressing the
button the time can be changed in one
minute steps.
Should then the power be changed press the
button for the intended cooking
area. After the time runs out, the appliance will stop working.
Child lock
By pressing the button the child lock will be activated or deactivated.
Safety switch off
Was there no Timer function activated and the appliance is working, then the appli-
ance will switch off automatically after 120min after the last touching of a button.
