FILLING WATER RESERVOIR
1.
Place Aurora
TM
on a flat, level surface.
2.
Make sure Lighted On/Off Switch is set to “Off” position and power cord is
unplugged from electrical outlet.
3.
Press and hold Steam Trigger to ensure that any remaining steam has been
emitted from unit.
4.
Allow unit to cool for at least 5 minutes.
5.
Drain any water remaining in Water Reservoir from previous use.
CAUTION: Emptying unit before filling ensures that proper amount of
water is added. Too much water may cause excess water in steam and could
damage unit.
6.
Unscrew Water Reservoir Cap.
7.
Fill Measuring Cup to maximum fill line with water (16 oz.)
NOTE: To prolong lifetime of Aurora
TM
,
we recommend using distilled or
de-mineralized water. DO NOT use any detergents or cleaning chemicals
inside Water Reservoir. Doing so may cause damage to unit.
8.
Carefully pour water from Measuring Cup into Water Reservoir through
fill hole, using Water Funnel to avoid spilling water.
9.
If desired, repeat steps 7 & 8 so that Water Reservoir is filled with a total of 32
oz. of water. See chart below for comparisons of amount of water versus
estimated amount of steam time.
10.
Replace Water Reservoir Cap.
ATTACHING STEAM JET NOZZLE & TRIANGLE BRUSH
1.
Depress red lock/release button on Main Steam Nozzle (FIGURE 1-A).
2.
While still depressing lock/release button, slide Steam Jet Nozzle or Triangle
Brush over this button, so that rectangular hole in attachment aligns with
lock/release button (FIGURE 1-B).
3.
Once lock/release button and rectangular hole are properly aligned, button
should
click
through hole and into place.
4.
To remove Steam Jet Nozzle or Triangle Brush, press in red lock/release
button and pull attachment off of Main Steam Nozzle.
