Q-Logic™ Setup
Joystick Throw
Throw is the location of maximum deflection of a joystick in a particular direction.
It can vary by user based on capability. The throw should be based on the ability
of the user and set to the maximum deflection the user is capable of producing.
1.
Once calibra�on is complete, Plug in the Q-Logic™ Handheld Programmer to the back of the
Q-Logic™ ED (Enhanced Display) or to the standalone joys�ck if SCIM (Specialty Control Input
Module) is in use.
2.
Power on the chair.
3.
Select
Throw
op�on with naviga�on's
Up
and
Down
bu�ons, then press the
Right
bu�on.
4.
This se�ng will turn power chair's system to
IDLE MODE
, press OK if prompted, then follow
screen instruc�ons.
5.
Deflect the joys�ck with individual's maximum force. Adjust the parameters by pressing the
Plus
and
Minus
bu�ons.
6.
When it is complete, you will be prompted to save the new configura�on. Press
Yes
to save.
Q-Logic 3
Joystick Setup
1.
Plug the Q-Logic handheld programmer into the back of the display.
2.
On the Programmer, select
Program Adjustments
.
3.
In the
Program Adjustments
menu, select
Enhanced Display
.
4.
In the
Enhanced Display
menu, select
Input Configura�on
.
5.
With the
Plus
and
Minus
bu�ons, select
Propor�onal
.
6.
Use the
Le�
naviga�on bu�on to return to the
Main Menu
and save.
Joystick Calibration
1.
Plug the Q-Logic handheld programmer into the back of the display.
2.
On the programmer, select
Program Adjustments
.
3.
In the
Program Adjustments
menu, select
Enhanced Display
.
4.
In the
Enhanced Display
menu, with the
Up
and
Down
bu�ons, select
Propor�onal
Input
.
5.
With the
Right
naviga�on bu�on, select
Propor�onal Calibra�on
. The programmer will
read '
Roll the joys�ck in two full circles
.'
6.
Select
OK
and verify that calibra�on was successful.
7.
With the
Le�
naviga�on bu�on, select back un�l you exit completely.
8.
Unplug the programmer and power cycle the chair.
